More women and their children leaving violence now have safe, secure place to stay as 44 new shelter and transitional housing spaces have opened in Kelowna.

In response to B.C.’s growing housing needs, BC Hydro has made changes to support faster, more affordable electricity connections for new homes and businesses throughout the province.

People living in Qualicum Beach with low to moderate incomes have access to 56 new affordable homes with the opening of the Residences at Qualicum Station.
