New legislation to establish a made-in-B.C. system to support and train apprentices and modernize the Crown agency responsible for trades training has been introduced in the legislature.

Hundreds of tradespeople and employers have shared their insights about how the Province can implement skilled trades certification to support higher-paying, more stable employment.  

Students throughout B.C. will gain the hands-on skills they need, thanks to new technology and trades equipment upgrades at 20 post-secondary institutions.
