The 2008 Bordeaux vintage wines are available in BC Liquor Stores.

Bordeaux is a region in southwest France that is world-famous for producing prestigious wines of exceptional quality.

BC Liquor Stores has a long-standing relationship with its suppliers in Bordeaux. This relationship has enabled it to provide its customers with access to a wide selection of high-quality red and white Bordeaux wines. This Bordeaux vintage offers wines to suit every budget and many are ready to be enjoyed now.

BC Liquor Stores has published a 2008 Bordeaux Collection guide listing all of the wines available in this release, along with ratings from various wine industry magazines, detailed tasting notes and information about specific bottle limits. The guide includes a drinkability legend to help customers make informed selections.

Each wine is clearly identified with an image indicating whether or not:

  • it should be enjoyed now,
  • can be enjoyed now - but may also be matured further, or
  • is an ideal choice for further cellaring.

This guide is available in all Signature BC Liquor Stores and online at: www.bcliquorstores.com

The flagship store at 39th & Cambie will carry the full collection of Bordeaux with Park Royal, Fort Street(Victoria), Orchard Park (Kelowna). Brighouse (Richmond) and Thurlow & Alberni (Vancouver) having enhanced selections. 2008 Bordeaux is also available at Signature stores in Kamloops, Penticton, Vernon and Prince George. Customers are encouraged to ask the product consultants in these locations to help with purchasing decisions.

2008 Bordeaux wines are available at 25 BC Liquor Stores, including 21 Signature BC Liquor Stores and the following locations: Dunbar (Vancouver), Caulfeild (West Vancouver), Peninsula Village (Surrey) and Brighouse (Richmond). Selection and quantity may vary by store.

For a complete list of participating BC Liquor Stores and hours of operation, visit: www.bcliquorstores.com

Limited quantities per customer will apply on some wines. Buyers are advised to shop early to avoid disappointment.
