The B.C. government is providing $291,950 in one-time grants to support 102 multicultural organizations through the B.C. Gaming Grant Program.

The grants will help the organizations raise awareness of multiculturalism throughout the province and strengthen their capacity to highlight and celebrate the diverse communities that make up B.C.'s multicultural identity.

In the 2012-13 fiscal year, a total of 243 multiculturalism organizations have been supported by $618,000 through one-time multiculturalism grants.
