On Sept. 28, 5,000 cases of the 2010 vintage Bordeaux wine from 180 wineries in France will be released for sale in BC Liquor Stores' Signature locations throughout the province, as well as a number of select stores.

Due to its strong relationships with suppliers in Bordeaux, the Liquor Distribution Branch is able to provide BC Liquor Stores customers with access to a wide selection of high-quality red and white Bordeaux wines in a range of prices from $25 to $3,800.

Product consultants will be available at all locations participating in the release to assist customers with their purchase. A Bordeaux brochure is available that lists all of the wines in this release, along with pricing, ratings from various wine industry magazines, detailed tasting notes and information about specific per-customer bottle limits. The guide is available in all Signature Stores as well as online at: www.bcliquorstores.com/files/promotions/bcldb_bordeaux2010_brochure_lr_updated_1.pdf

Participating stores include the 21 Signature Stores, as well as the Dunbar, Caulfeild, Peninsula Village and Brighouse locations. The flagship location at 39th & Cambie in Vancouver will carry the complete range of 2010 Bordeaux. However, product selection and quantity may otherwise vary by store. A per-customer bottle limit will apply on some wines and buyers are advised to shop early to avoid disappointment.

Quick Facts:

  • Bordeaux is a region in southwest France that is world-famous for producing prestigious wines of exceptional quality.
  • The complete list of locations that are participating can be found at:
