Tuition waiver program expands to more trades opportunities

Effective July 1, 2018, former youth in care will have the cost of their tuition waived for foundation and apprenticeship program, with 10 union-based training providers.

The 10 providers are:

  • Construction & Specialized Workers' Union
  • D.C. 38 Joint Trade Society
  • Electrical Joint Training Committee
  • Floorlayers Union
  • IUOE Local 115 Training Association
  • Pile Drivers Local 2404
  • Sheet Metal Workers Training Centre Society
  • Piping Industry Apprenticeship Board
  • Trowel Trades Training Association
  • Boilermaker Training Centre
