The public is advised that the Exstew River recreation site, located 42 kilometres west of Terrace on Highway 16, will be closed to recreational users between Tuesday, May 15, and Wednesday, May 23, 2018.
This short-term closure is required to reduce incidents of vandalism, protect the environment and ensure public safety.
Any exemptions to this closure order must be authorized by the regional manager of the Ministry of Forests, Lands, Natural Resource Operations and Rural Development’s Northern Interior region Recreation Sites and Trails branch.
