The inquest into the deaths of Janet Nguyen, Christopher Duong, and Alexander and Harlan Duong, which was scheduled to begin on Monday, Oct. 6, 2025, has been postponed due to ongoing BCGEU and PEA job action.

The inquest has been tentatively rescheduled to start on Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2025. There is a risk that the revised date may also be affected by job action, and updates will be posted on the BC Coroners Service website as they become available.

Inquests are important to families, communities and the public, and understanding during this period of disruption is appreciated.
