The Province, through BC Housing, and the City of Salmon Arm are working together on plans to build a new long-term shelter for people experiencing homelessness in the community.

People experiencing homelessness in Salmon Arm will soon have access to a warm, safe place to sleep when a new temporary winter shelter opens in the community.

Residents are moving into Cedar Place, a new 38-unit supportive housing building for people experiencing or at risk of homelessness in Salmon Arm.  

Thirty-five new affordable rental homes are now available for families, seniors and individuals with low to moderate incomes in Salmon Arm, with the second phase of a new housing development opening in the community.

Low- to moderate-income people in Salmon Arm are moving into 32 safe and affordable rental homes, with the first phase of a new housing development opening in the community.
