The Province takes another step improving access to government programs and services for Indigenous Peoples and racialized communities, with the release of 12 priorities for anti-racism research.

The revitalization of Vancouver Chinatown is being supported by the Province with $2.2 million to create a more vibrant neighbourhood for residents, visitors and businesses.

The Chinese Canadian Museum is receiving an additional $10 million from the Province to support renovations and operating costs as the museum prepares for its public opening on July 1, 2023. 

More than 100 people and organizations have been nominated for the 2023 B.C. Multiculturalism and Anti-Racism Awards for efforts to address racism and build a more equitable B.C. for everyone.

The Province is making it easier for internationally educated nurses to work in B.C.’s health-care system with new financial supports and a faster, more efficient assessment pathway.

The British Columbia Assembly of First Nations (BCAFN) is launching a new Centre of Excellence in First Nations Economic Development to help advance the role of First Nations in B.C.’s inclusive economy and to work toward true and lasting reconciliation.

As a part of the StrongerBC Economic Plan and the next step in B.C.'s Trade Diversification Strategy, the Province has signed an action plan with Gyeonggi Province in South Korea.
