More people with complex needs can get improved employment supports on their path to long-term recovery, health and wellness, thanks to an $8.2-million provincial grant to the Canadian Mental Health Association of British Columbia.

People will have an opportunity to write the next chapter of their lives with funding for adult learning programs to improve literacy, math and digital skills in 128 communities this fall.

As a step to dismantle systemic racism and discrimination faced by Indigenous, Black and people of colour, the Province is introducing the anti-racism data act. 

As many as 30 people will get skills training to retrain them for jobs in the greenhouse sector as landscape and horticulture technicians.

More than 13,000 British Columbians have participated in an engagement on how government can safely and thoughtfully use demographic data to address systemic racism and build a better, more inclusive province for everyone.
