Families and businesses in British Columbia will continue to see affordable, stable electricity rates under BC Hydro’s latest application to the B.C. Utilities Commission (BCUC).

Josie Osborne, Minister of Energy, Mines and Low Carbon Innovation, and George Heyman, Minister of Environment and Climate Change Strategy, have released the following statement in response to the Government of Canada’s carbon tax announcement:

The McLeod Lake Indian Band (MLIB) and the Province of British Columbia have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) that strengthens their relationship and lays the foundation for a proposed Tse’khene energy transition hub, supporting economic reconciliation and development for the region through the production of low-carbon energy.
