Premier John Horgan; Murray Rankin, Minister of Indigenous Relations and Reconciliation; and Grace Lore, Parliamentary Secretary for Gender Equity, have issued the following statement in support of Moose Hide Campaign Day:

United in one voice, membership in the new In Plain Sight Task Team is now in place to help resolve Indigenous-specific racism in health care and make the system culturally safe for Indigenous peoples and all people in British Columbia.

To support Lake Babine Nation with economic recovery from the pandemic, the Province is accelerating $22 million ahead of schedule under the 2020 Lake Babine Nation Foundation Agreement.
