Amendments to B.C.’s lumber regulations will open the door for more wood products to be manufactured in the province, strengthening the forestry sector and creating more family-supporting jobs.

The Province is encouraging people to prepare and be vigilant as several weather warnings have been issued for a storm that will bring heavy rain, strong winds and snow to some areas. The storm will impact B.C. on Monday, Dec. 4, and should ease on Tuesday, Dec. 5.

The speculation and vacancy tax is helping turn empty units into homes and creating affordable housing in communities throughout the province, new data confirms.
