Young people in northeastern B.C. will soon have increased access to much-needed mental-health and substance-use supports, as a Foundry Centre comes to Fort St. John.

People living in Prince George with substance-use challenges will soon have access to new mental-health and substance-use services as the Province expands a continuum of care in Northern Health.

Sheila Malcolmson, Minister of Mental Health and Addictions, has released the following statement regarding the BC Coroners Service’s report on illicit drug toxicity deaths for April 2022:

British Columbians living with serious and persistent mental illnesses will soon have access to more supports as the Province invests in services to help them and their families thrive.

Health-care and community social services workers throughout British Columbia will be able to access more mental-health supports as the province expands tailor-made programs for the sector.
