It’s the time of year when bears emerge from their dens and search for food, often bringing them into the nearest community.

A dedicated transit lane now exists in both directions from Fisgard Street in downtown Victoria to the Highway 1-Burnside Road overpass in Saanich, with the completion of the new southbound Douglas Street bus lane.
