Families in the Vancouver school district will benefit from improved transportation services thanks to $53,423 in funding under the new provincial Student Transportation Fund.

Families in the Maple Ridge – Pitt Meadows school district will no longer pay fees for eligible bus riders thanks to $185,990 in funding under the new provincial Student Transportation Fund.

Families in the Fraser-Cascade school district will benefit from improved transportation services thanks to $184,576 in funding under the new provincial Student Transportation Fund.

Families in the Kamloops/Thompson school district will benefit from improved transportation services thanks to $666,817 in funding under the new provincial Student Transportation Fund.

Families in the Powell River school district will benefit from improved transportation services, thanks to $91,754 in funding under the new provincial Student Transportation Fund.

Families in the Coast Mountains school district will benefit from improved transportation services thanks to $557,786 in funding under the new provincial Student Transportation Fund.

Families in the Peace River North school district will no longer pay fees for students riding school buses within their schools’ catchment areas thanks to $425,785 in funding under the new provincial Student Transportation Fund.

The Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure is increasing BikeBC funding for cycling infrastructure projects to $8 million for the 2017-18 fiscal year and will be opening the application intake this fall.
