The next generation of B.C.’s leaders will have a new platform to help shape government policy and priorities through the creation of the StrongerBC Young Leaders Council.

Government is updating its K-12 education health and safety guidelines to require masks for kindergarten to Grade 3 students. 

British Columbians are encouraged to help shape B.C.’s anti-racism data legislation, so government can better identify existing gaps and create a more inclusive, equitable province.

The Province is launching the BC Vaccine Card, a digital or printed document that shows the stage cardholders are at in their COVID-19 vaccine progress.

Right in time for the new school year, more than 8,600 students will be returning to safer and modernized classrooms at 16 new or improved schools throughout the province.

B.C. students will return to school next month and can look forward to full-time, in-person learning and resuming sports, music and other extracurricular activities, while mask requirements and other health and safety measures remain in place to keep schools safe.

The Province is reaffirming to British Columbians that the health authorities, Emergency Management BC (EMBC) and BC Emergency Health Services (BCEHS) remain geared up and ready to help people through another heat wave.

As many as 20 eligible British Columbians will get skill enhancement training and local work experience as IT help desk analysts to help them develop their careers in the tech industry.
