British Columbians will soon benefit from greater efficiencies, reduced backlogs and better services thanks to stable investments in road safety.

As part of the program to replace the George Massey Tunnel, the Province is taking the next step to replace the Steveston Interchange, which will improve connections for vehicles, transit users, pedestrians and cyclists.

With some highways still damaged by flooding and mudslides, and the potential for further flooding this week, the Province is extending the provincial state of emergency.

As heavy snowfall is forecast across southwestern B.C., now is the time for British Columbians to prepare for cold temperatures, power outages and slick streets.
