The Government of British Columbia is appointing three new Provincial Court judges and two new judicial justices, to support the judiciary with the resources required to continue providing access to justice.

The Province, through BC Housing, and the Aboriginal Housing Society of Prince George (AHSPG) are partnering to build 35 new supportive homes for seniors and Indigenous Elders experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness in Prince George.

Residential tenancy changes that will prevent renovictions and provide renters with more security and protection come into effect on Thursday, July 1, 2021.

Two new affordable rental housing buildings with a combined 17 homes are open for Westbank First Nation (WFN) Members, Elders and families in the WFN community, thanks to a partnership between WFN and the Province.

The Snuneymuxw First Nation (SFN) and the Province, through BC Housing, are partnering to build and operate new culturally appropriate housing for Snuneymuxw peoples, particularly women and children, Elders and people experiencing homelessness in the community.  

Nearly 60 new affordable rental homes will soon be available for families and seniors in Victoria as construction begins on a new housing development in the community.
