Highway 99 northbound and southbound will be closed to traffic overnight for two consecutive nights, beginning Friday, June 14, 2024, for Steveston Interchange construction.  

A key bridge on the Trans-Canada Highway at the site of a washout in the November 2021 flooding is nearing completion and has received an Indigenous name celebrating neighbouring communities in the Fraser Canyon.

Drivers using Highway 99 in Delta are advised that construction work at the 78th Street Interchange is getting underway and there will be minor impacts to traffic for the duration of the project.

People travelling in the evenings along Highway 1 in Saanich can expect to see work starting this week on the Colquitz River Bridges Widening Project.
