The public is invited to attend a drop-in open house on Monday, Nov. 14 regarding plans to upgrade a section of the Trans-Canada Highway near Illecillewaet.
This information session is an opportunity for the public to learn more about the work planned to four-lane a 2.5 kilometre section of highway and expand the existing brake check area on Highway 1, 42 kilometres east of Revelstoke.
Staff from the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure will be available to go over the information, answer questions and receive feedback on the project.
