The Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure has arranged a drop-in style open house that will provide the public with more information on the Highway 91/17 and Deltaport Way project.
The Highway 91/17 and Deltaport Way project is a combination of safety and efficiency upgrades to the existing Highway 91, Highway 17, Highway 91 Connector and Deltaport Way.
The improvements include widening and upgrading roadways, creating additional turning lanes, and upgrading ramps to help cut down on traffic congestion. It will also improve travel safety and efficiency, as truck and passenger traffic is expected to grow along these key trade corridors in the years to come. Early work on the project is expected to start in summer 2018, with completion scheduled for 2023.
