Motorists are advised that temporary lane closures and parking restrictions will be in effect Thursday, Aug. 22 and Friday Aug. 23, as well as Friday, Aug. 29, 2019.

These closures and restrictions will allow for geotechnical investigation work related to the Broadway Subway project. The Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure is undertaking soil study work at Broadway and Arbutus to gather information about the future construction of the project.

This work will require temporary lane closures in the eastbound left lane of West Broadway, and the northbound right lane of Arbutus Street between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.

In addition, parking will be temporarily restricted along the northbound lane of Arbutus Street, north of Broadway.
