What to know about the developments in Kamloops

The Confluence, 346 Campbell Ave.

  • The development provides 80 affordable rental homes to people with low to moderate incomes.
  • The Province, through BC Housing, provided a Community Housing Fund grant of approximately $9 million and will provide annual operating funding of approximately $1 million.
  • ASK Wellness Society owns the lands and operates the homes.

377 Tranquille Rd.

  • The mixed commercial-residential development will provide 85 new rental homes above a commercial space.
  • The residential portion will be owned and operated by Kamloops Community Land Trust Foundation, a non-profit organization established by the City of Kamloops to acquire, hold and steward land for long-term attainable and affordable housing in the city.
  • The Province, through BC Builds at BC Housing, is providing a grant of approximately $9.6 million and construction financing of approximately $19.6 million. 
  • The land, valued at approximately $2.3 million, is owned by the City of Kamloops, which will lease the property at a nominal rate.
  • ARPA Investments contributed cash equity of $2.5 million for the commercial space in the development and will own the space.
  • The building is under construction and is expected to be complete in late 2027.
