Bowinn Ma, Minister of Infrastructure, is due to have her baby in the coming days.

Ma will begin her parental leave on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, and is expected to return to her position in September.

Lisa Beare, Minister of Education and Child Care, will take on Ma’s ministerial duties during her leave.

Ma’s North Vancouver-Lonsdale community office will remain open for its regular office hours, with walk-in appointments available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., and on Mondays and Fridays by appointment only.
