Construction on the Highway 17 Keating Cross overpass project will resume Wednesday, April 1, 2026, after a short winter break.

Drivers are reminded this is an active construction zone.

The on-ramp and off-ramp at Exit 18 (Keating flyover) are expected to remain open during daytime hours while remaining work is completed. Periodic nighttime closures will be required:

• Nightly lane closures will happen in each direction along Highway 17 between Tanner Road and Island View Road, resulting in:
  • single-lane northbound traffic from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m.
  • single-lane southbound traffic from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m.

The project is expected to be complete in spring 2026.

People are asked to take extra care when travelling through the area, watch for workers and equipment, and obey signage.
