Drivers are advised that the new roundabout at the intersection of Highway 4 and Beaver Creek Road is open to traffic.
The roundabout is the main feature of the Highway 4 and Beaver Creek Road Intersection Improvements project. It is designed to improve traffic flow along Highway 4 while enhancing connections to Beaver Creek Road.
Travellers are encouraged to use extra caution as people become familiar with the new traffic pattern. Drivers should slow down when approaching the roundabout, yield to traffic in the roundabout and follow posted signs and pavement markings.
Some landscaping, minor drainage and electrical work in and around the roundabout is still required to complete the project. The work will not affect day-to-day traffic. Travellers are advised to obey posted speed limits and watch for workers until work is complete in late August 2026.
