The BC Wildfire Service will be conducting a series of ecosystem restoration burns in the West Parsnip area of the Mackenzie Natural Resource District from June 7 to June 30, 2017, if weather and site conditions are favourable.

The BC Wildfire Service will be conducting a series of prescribed burns in the West Parsnip area of the Mackenzie Natural Resource District from Sept. 19-23, 2016, if weather and site conditions are favourable.

A series of prescribed burns is planned for the Bevel Mountain and Ospika River areas in the Mackenzie Natural Resource District from May 2-20, 2016, weather conditions permitting.

With the long weekend approaching, members of the public are advised that the following rules under the Forest and Range Practices Act are in place for Tudyah Lake and Gataiga Lake recreation sites:

The ministry is currently reviewing the timber supply for the Mackenzie Timber Supply Area (TSA).
