Premier David Eby has issued the following statement marking the National Day of Remembrance for Victims of Terrorism:

People from diverse backgrounds with an interest in dismantling systemic racism and advancing racial equity are encouraged to apply to be members of the Provincial Committee on Anti-Racism.

The Province has released initial research findings into barriers experienced by Indigenous Peoples and racialized people in the public service, schools and health care.

Families throughout B.C. will have access to free activities from Feb. 16-19 in their communities to celebrate and spend time with loved ones.

Homeowners in designated taxable municipalities covered by the speculation and vacancy tax will soon receive their annual declaration letters, as part of the Province’s work to fight real estate speculation and deliver more homes to people.
