Lyackson First Nation, Cowichan Tribes and the Province are celebrating a key reconciliation milestone that will enable the return of culturally signifciant land in the Cowichan River valley to two member communities of the Quw’utsun Nation.

Kwadacha Nation and the Province are coming together to improve the social, cultural and economic well-being of Kwadacha Nation, its members and people in northern B.C.

Murray Rankin, Minister of Indigenous Relations and Reconciliation, has appointed three new members to the Minister’s Advisory Council on Indigenous Women (MACIW).

Premier David Eby has issued the following statement acknowledging the annual Women’s Memorial March being held today:

Cabinet and First Nations Leaders’ Gathering, working together to recognize, respect and advance government-to-government relationships.

Tseshaht First Nation and the B.C. government are celebrating an important step forward in their partnership, with provincial funds supporting Tseshaht as they work toward a new housing development that will benefit the entire Alberni Valley.
