The Province, through BC Housing, has purchased the former Red Lion Inn and Suites in Abbotsford to provide 30 temporary shelter spaces for people experiencing homelessness in the community.

A state-of-the-art courthouse has opened in Abbotsford that will make justice services more accessible and convenient for people in the region.

The Province is working with the City of Abbotsford on two new supportive housing buildings for people struggling with homelessness, including one building focused on helping women experiencing homelessness transition toward more permanent housing.
