Road closed in both directions while work underway

Drivers are advised to plan for a temporary ramp closure on Highway 1 while the City of Vancouver completes street upgrades on East 1st Avenue.

Drivers travelling through Queensborough are advised to plan and expect delays as nighttime lane closures are planned on the Queensborough Bridge, starting this week, to work on deck renewal.  

Construction on the Highway 17 Keating Cross overpass project will resume Wednesday, April 1, 2026, after a short winter break.

Drivers are advised that work to complete a new bridge on Fulford-Ganges Road will resume next week between Blackburn Lake and Cusheon Lake.

Due to prolonged heavy rainfall this week and overnight, multiple potholes have formed along Highway 1 east of Chilliwack, between Bridal Falls and Hope.

Data collected will help inform safety improvements along the corridor

Drivers in the Lower Mainland are advised to plan ahead, ensure their vehicles are equipped with winter tires and allow for more time to reach their destination as snow and winter weather are expected in Metro Vancouver overnight until Wednesday, March 11, 2026.
