(Updated March 11, 2026) Drivers in Fraser Valley will receive earlier warnings to help prevent overpass collision

Drivers travelling on Highway 1 are advised to expect delays of as much as 20 minutes as nighttime closures are planned on the Ironworkers Memorial Second Narrows Crossing, starting Sunday, March 8, 2026.

Drivers are advised that Allenby Road, from just past Boys Road to Miller Road in Duncan, will be closed daily March 9-13, 2026, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Project will address bottleneck along Mount Lehman Road at Highway 1 in Fraser Valley

As part of work to widen Highway 1 through the Fraser Valley, drivers are advised of upcoming overnight traffic diversions on Highway 1 between Glover Road and 248th Street, starting as early as Sunday, Feb. 22, 2026. 

Drivers are advised that Highway 4 will be closed between Port Alberni Summit and Chalet Road on Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2026, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

As part of work to widen Highway 1 through the Fraser Valley, drivers are advised to expect overnight traffic-pattern changes on Highway 1 at Highway 11 starting as early as Monday, Feb. 9, 2026.

Drivers are reminded that the Pattullo Bridge and the stal̕əw̓asəm (Riverview) Bridge between New Westminster and Surrey will be closed for approximately one week starting Friday, Feb. 6, 2026, at 8 p.m.
