Design work is underway for a Highway 9 shoulder enhancement and resurfacing project that will provide a safer, smoother and more efficient ride for motorists, cyclists and pedestrians.

Both the Rosedale overhead and the Agassiz-Rosedale bridge structures will be improved with seismic and safety retrofits to ensure the Highway 9 corridor is kept safe and reliable.

The world is changing and B.C. students need to be ready to adapt to the careers of tomorrow. Students in the Fraser-Cascade School District will be prepared thanks to $22,500 in provincial funding awarded to the district, helping to connect kids with opportunities in skilled trades and tech training. 

The B.C. government is recognizing the almost 130 years of agricultural science and research conducted at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada's Pacific Agri-Food Research Centre in Agassiz with a Century farm Award.
