Students in the Coquitlam School District will benefit from $3.3 million in provincial funding for school upgrade projects and new classroom supplies, MLA Linda Reimer announced on behalf of Education Minister Mike Bernier.

Construction of the new state-of-the-art $28.7-million École Moody Middle School of the Arts is already at the half way mark, on track to welcome up to 450 grades 6-8 students this fall.

Students in the Coquitlam School District are connecting with skills and technology training development thanks to a $17,500 grant to the district from the Province’s Shoulder Tappers Program.

Students, teachers and staff at Westwood Elementary school in the Coquitlam school district will benefit from $270,500 in provincial School Enhancement Program funding.  

Families in the Coquitlam school district will benefit from improved transportation services, thanks to $81,641 in funding under the new provincial Student Transportation Fund.
