VICTORIA – Minister of State for Emergency Preparedness Naomi Yamamoto announced Emergency Management BC’s (EMBC) endorsement of a one-year pilot project for the use of unmanned aerial vehicles – “UAVs” or drones – by search and rescue crews in Coquitlam and Kamloops.
