Residents in Coquitlam have begun moving into 132 new affordable homes as construction is finished on part of the redevelopment of Hoy Creek Housing Cooperative.

Homes in two housing co-operatives in Coquitlam will be protected with the first acquisition from the Province’s Rental Protection Fund. 

BC Housing and local partners are acting on an independent review of the supportive housing and permanent shelter at 3030 Gordon Ave.

Families, seniors and people with low to moderate incomes are moving into 75 new affordable rental homes with the opening of Mountain View Suites in Coquitlam.

Construction is underway on a new rental housing project that will replace the aging Hoy Creek Housing Co-operative homes in Coquitlam.
