Highway 3 has reopened for goods movement and people travelling for essential purposes only following a closure to conduct a geotechnical assessment.

Highway 1 between Boothroyd and Hope is now open, helping connect several communities to the Lower Mainland. 

Highway 1 is now open to a single lane of traffic in each direction between Hope and Highway 9 east of Chilliwack.

Highway 7 to Hope is open for essential travel, which will help people reach their homes and the movement of goods and services.

The Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure is opening Highway 7 between Hope and Agassiz for commercial vehicles.

Beginning Monday, April 6, 2020, drivers can expect lane closures on Highway 5 to allow for repairs at Carolin Bridge, located approximately 25 kilometres north of Hope.

The Province is teaming up with the Hope and Area Transition Society and community partners on a proposed development that would bring 52 new homes with supports for people experiencing homelessness in the community.

Lane closures will be in effect on Highway 5, approximately 25 kilometres north of Hope, beginning July 3, 2019, and continuing through to the end of October.
