Safety has improved on Highway 5A between Kamloops and Merritt as a result of road safety improvements and increased enforcement.

Further to a news release sent Saturday at 1:30 p.m., more personnel are being included in the wave of B.C. wildland firefighters heading to Quebec on Sunday, July 7.
