The Province is partnering with the City of Langford and the District of Sooke in building 115 new, affordable rental homes to help address the housing needs of families and seniors in Greater Victoria’s Western Communities.

The Province has committed to improving safety at the Parkland, Gillespie and Connie road intersections on Highway 14 between Langford and Sooke.

The Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure has begun planning work to four-lane Highway 1 and to install a median barrier from the Leigh Road interchange to Goldstream Park, representing a further two kilometres of lane widening.

A new, $5-million southbound off-ramp at the Leigh Road Interchange on Highway 1 will open this weekend, improving access to the City of Langford.
