The Tsal’alh Government is leading clean-energy projects in the Interior with B.C. government funding to empower community members with access to more efficient and sustainable sources of energy.

The Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure will be holding a public information session on Wednesday, March 29, in Lillooet to provide the public with an opportunity to review the design and offer input on traffic management during construction.

Residents of the northern St’át’imc territory and the greater Lillooet region will be growing more local food in 2017 as the Lillooet Agriculture and Food Society (LAFS) begins its “Growing Healthy Communities” project.

A new agreement with the B.C. government will allow three First Nations to share provincial revenue from the Jamie Creek Hydroelectric Project: the Bridge River Indian Band, the N’Quatqua First Nation and the T’it’q’et Nation.

Two contracts valued at $5.2 million have been awarded to upgrade the road surface and replace a single-lane bridge on Highway 99 near Lillooet, improving safety and travel for area residents and visitors to the region.

The Governments of Canada and British Columbia, along with community partners, today marked the opening of Mclean Manor, an eight-apartment affordable housing development for seniors and people with disabilities.

Thanks to $40,000 in provincial Brownfield Renewal funding, the District of Lillooet can start to redevelop the old Bridge Road landfill.
