A new gymnasium is now open for students and staff at École des Deux-rives, while offering families in the community a valuable gathering area.

Plans for an enhanced and expanded Mission Senior Secondary are continuing, with funding secured to create a new, larger school to serve an additional 250 students.

Francophone students and families in Mission will soon benefit from a new gym at École élémentaire des Deux-rives, allowing the old gym to be repurposed to enhance learning opportunities.

Students in the Mission School District will benefit from almost $1.8 million in provincial funding for school upgrade projects, classroom supplies and a new school bus, MLA Marc Dalton announced on behalf of Education Minister Mike Bernier.

Families in the Mission school district will benefit from improved transportation services, thanks to $188,900 in funding under the new provincial Student Transportation Fund.
