People in Osoyoos will soon have access to 43 new affordable rental homes with construction starting on an on-reserve housing development.

People living in rural British Columbia have a pathway to a stronger future, thanks to a provincial framework to boost connectivity, improve health care and deliver more investments rooted in local realities.

The Province is helping the Town of Osoyoos improve its drinking water by funding improvements to the water treatment plant.   

Members of the public are invited to attend an information session being held by Ministry of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations staff regarding protecting species at risk in the Osoyoos West Bench.

Students, teachers and staff at Osoyoos Secondary school in the Okanagan – Similkameen school district will benefit from $271,300 in provincial School Enhancement Program funding.

British Columbia remains free of invasive mussels, thanks to ongoing efforts that have seen more than 6,100 watercraft inspected so far this year – already surpassing the number of inspections in all of 2015.

Osoyoos will receive $403,692 for projects that help support tourism infrastructure and amenities.
