The B.C. government is providing $107,300 to three organizations to help manage invasive plants in the southern Okanagan.

The BC Wildfire Service is planning to burn about 200 piles of wood debris in an area near the Arawana Forest Service Road, about five kilometres east of Naramata.

Under the BC Rural Dividend, the Province is providing $140,000 to the communities of Summerland and Peachland, Penticton MLA Dan Ashton announced.
