Families, seniors, individuals and people living with disabilities can look forward to 115 new affordable rental homes and 150 child care spaces in Pitt Meadows.

A new child care facility at Davie Jones Elementary school will provide dozens of families and children in and around Pitt Meadows with convenient child care on school grounds.

Initial planning work has been completed leading to a concept for improvements to the Lougheed Highway/Harris Road intersection, which will benefit people in Pitt Meadows.

Travellers and commuters are advised that the westbound left lane on Highway 7, approximately 750 metres west of Allen Way, will be closed due to a sinkhole that appeared Wednesday evening.
