Skilled trades students in the Revelstoke and Arrow Lake school districts will benefit from a three-year, $15-million investment by the B.C. government to support youth trades programs with the purchase of new trades training equipment.

As British Columbia experiences some of its strongest tourism growth in years, Revelstoke is receiving $583,057 from the Province’s Resort Municipality Initiative (RMI) to support its tourism industry.

Revelstoke’s Food Security Strategy is putting down roots, thanks to more than $13,000 in provincial funding for two work experience participants to develop food security programs with Community Connections Revelstoke.

Revelstoke will receive a total of $590,762 to support local tourism infrastructure and visitor services.

The Government of British Columbia is growing tourism economies by providing $10.5 million this year to 14 resort municipalities throughout the province.
