Farmers’ institutes in British Columbia are being recognized for the support they provide and the communities they serve throughout the province, advocating on behalf of farmers and promoting agriculture.

Families at Alderwood House school are now paying no more than $200 a month per child as part of the B.C. government’s universal child care prototype site program.
