The removal of the old Steveston Highway crossing, initially scheduled to begin this weekend, Feb.1-2, 2025, has been postponed due to incoming snowy winter weather.

Drivers are advised of traffic-pattern changes on Highway 99 at Steveston crossing over three weekends.

Drivers are advised the southbound slow lane of Highway 99 through the George Massey Tunnel will be closed overnight for five nights starting Monday, Aug. 12, 2024.

Drivers are advised Highway 99 traffic will be reduced to a minimum of one lane in each direction overnight starting Monday, Aug. 12, 2024, at the Steveston Interchange.

Drivers are advised that Highway 99 northbound and southbound will be closed overnight starting late Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2024, at the Steveston Interchange to allow crews to safely move heavy machinery across the highway as part of the Steveston Interchange Project.
