With more than $282,000 in funding from the B.C. Government, Community Futures Shuswap is setting out to create a new labour-market strategy for the region.

The B.C. government has distributed $15,199 in compensation for municipal property taxes to the City of Salmon Arm.

Students, teachers and staff at A.L. Fortune Secondary school in the North Okanagan-Shuswap school district will benefit from $196,876 in provincial School Enhancement Program funding.

Under the BC Rural Dividend, the Province is providing $32,000 to the Columbia Shuswap Regional District, Shuswap MLA Greg Kyllo announced.
