Five hundred more students in Surrey can look forward to moving into modern, engaging classrooms after an addition to Kwantlen Park Secondary School was approved.

One billion dollars in new grants will be going to local governments in B.C. to help build community infrastructure and amenities to meet the demands of unprecedented population growth.

Approximately 100 new affordable rental homes in Surrey are now open for veterans, first responders, legion members, families and individuals.

A 10-classroom addition has opened at Sunnyside Elementary, giving more Surrey students expanded, modern and connected spaces to learn.   

More families in Surrey will save thousands of dollars per year as 61 local child care spaces convert to the $10-a-day program, helping familes get ahead and building high-quality, affordable and accessible child care as a core service in B.C.
